There are two kinds of bootable disc supported in AOMEI Backupper: Linux boot disc and Windows PE boot disc. And you can choose different kinds of storage media for bootable media creation, including USB, CD, and DVD. Now follow the instructions below:
Step 1. Install and launch AOMEI Backupper. Click “Tools” from the left panel and select “Create Bootable Media”.
Step 2. In the pop-up window, choose “Windows PE – Create bootable disc based on Windows PE” and click “Next”.
Tips: Windows PE bootable disc brings more features of AOMEI Backupper than Linux bootable disc. For example, you can run system backup from WinPE bootable disc while it can’t be done from Linux disc.
Step 3. Specify storage media. Then, click “Next” to run the process.
Notes:
When creating WinPE bootable disc, if the system is Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008, please download Windows AIK. If your OS version is above Windows 7, or Windows 2012 R2, you can directly create WinPE disc.
If you want to create a bootable media in Windows Server, you should use AOMEI Backupper Server.
