1. Open the Veeam Backup & Replication Console and select Home on the bottom left menu.

3. At the Machines step, select one or more VMs you want to recover.
- Click Add, then select where to browse for VMs and VM containers, whether From infrastructure or From Backup.
- Select the VMs you want to restore and click Add.
- If you want to select a specific restore point (by default Veeam uses the latest valid restore point), then in the Virtual machines to restore list, select the VM and click Point, then in the Restore Points window, select the required restore point.
4. At the Recovery Mode step, select Restore to the original/a new location and click Next.
5. In the Host step, specify a target Hyper-V host or a Hyper-V cluster where you want to locate the recovered VMs.
6. (Optional) In the Datastore step, specify a path to the folder where VM configuration files and disks will be stored.

7. (Optional) In the Network step, select the necessary workloads from the Network connections list. Then click Network to select a network to which the selected workload must be connected after recovery.
8. (Optional) In the Name step, specify names under which VMs will be recovered and select whether you want to preserve VM UUIDs or change them.
9. In the Reason step, enter a reason for performing the Instant Recovery.
10. In the Summary step, choose if the target VMs should be powered on and connected to the network, and then click Finish.
