Way 3. Take Advantage of iCloud

iCloud Photos is not compatible with iTunes photos syncing. If you turn on iCloud Photos on iPhone, the photos synced from iTunes will be deleted.

1. Go to Settings > Tap [your name] > Tap iCloud > Choose Photos > Turn on iCloud Photos.

2. You will get a message telling you “Photos and Videos Synced from iTunes will be Removed” > Just tap Remove Photos and Videos to confirm.

When photos synced from iTunes have been deleted, you can turn off iCloud Photos again.
