Also, you can use Event trigger and USB Plug in on the professional version

By default this software will create one full backup and 6 incremental backup if you set a scheduled backup task. This may result in backup disk full issue in the long run, thus it's suggested to enable Backup Scheme and delete backup file automatically. You have 3 options, By quantity,  By time, By daily/weekly/monthly. You need to upgrade now (5% off for one computer) before using it.

Enable Automatic Backup Cleanup

And the incremental backup has high requirement for recovery while differential backup is much easier. For differences between them, learn my previous article: Incremental or Differential Backup.

Besides, you still can enable email notification after the task finished. Comment, split, compress the backup image, or select a backup mode, etc.

Closing Words on Buffalo backup utility

You can use AOMEI Backupper Standard as Buffalo NAS backup software to backup files and execute this task easily and automatically. By default, it backs up only changed files to save backup time and disk space. If you want to further reduce the size of backup image, you could consider using compression level, intelligent sector backup, automatic splitting, etc.

And the most effective way to free up disk space is to delete old backup image with automatic backup cleanup methods in the Backup Scheme. Also, you can enjoy safer backup method - differential backup, which uses less backup time and disk space, at the same time, it's easy for recovery.

Believe me, it's one of the most powerful backup software to protect your data and system. Please download it to enjoy these features.
