How to Upgrade Advent Laptop Hard Drive to SSD
Here's how to upgrade Advent HDD to SSD. It's divided into two parts, namely clone and replace Advent laptop HDD with SSD. Let's get started.
1. Launch AOMEI Backupper Professional, and select Disk Clone at the Clone tab.
2. Pitch on the Advent laptop HDD as the source disk.
3. Choose the new SSD drive as the destination disk to upgrade Advent hard drive.
4. Tick SSD Alignment to improve SSD disk performance and click Start Clone to clone Advent laptop HDD with SSD.

Sector by sector clone: Clone all sectors of a drive, whether used or not, or blank and bad sectors.

Edit Partitions: Adjust the partition size of the destination disk to fully use its storage space. Or convert the disk partition style, from MBR to GPT, or not.
After cloning, you need to start the Advent laptop hard drive replacement as follows.
- Shut down the Advent laptop and disconnect the power supply as well as the battery.
- Unscrew the screws on the Advent laptop back using a screwdriver.
- Open the case and take out the original hard drive from its caddy.
