Hi, I have a Cruzer Micro 4GB U3 with security enabled, I once typed the password wrong and accidentally clicked the delete button when it appeared. I immediately disconnected the USB from the computer without going through the erase process (i.e. using the eject button).

When I reconnected the USB to the computer, the U3 software no longer asks for a password. In "My Computer" I can see both the U3 system drive and the Cruzer drive. The Cruzer drive capacity shows that the free space is only 63 MB, so I think my files are still on the USB. (at least I hope), but all the files are now showing up with foreign (corrupted) names, is there any way to recover the files? Please help me.

Fix SanDisk Cruzer Blade not recognized/not recognized

Sometimes people face the problem "SanDisk Cruzer Blade USB flash drive not recognized" and have no idea how to fix it.

Fortunately, there are three simple methods you can follow to fix the problem.

Method 1: Connect the SanDisk Cruzer Blade to another USB port or a computer.

If the computer doesn't recognize the SanDisk Cruzer, try another port. It is possible that the port you are connecting it to is not working properly. Therefore, connecting the SanDisk to another port may work.

If it still does not work, connect the SanDisk to another computer. Perhaps the problem is with the computer and not the USB drive. If the new computer recognizes the SanDisk, the old computer needs to be repaired.

Method 2: Update the SanDisk Cruzer USB driver

When the USB driver is outdated, the Windows computer may not be able to detect or recognize the device. The driver may not be able to detect or recognize the drive, so follow the tips here to solve the problem immediately:

Step 1. Connect the Cruzer USB to your computer, right-click on This PC/My Computer and select "Manage".

Step 2. Click on "Manage Devices" and expand "Disk Driver".

Step 3. Right-click on the SanDisk Cruzer USB or laptop and select "Update Driver".
