How to make hidden folders/files visible?
There are times when we need to find some hidden folders/files such as the AomeiBR folder and the tasks2.2.xml file. This article will explain how to show hidden folders/files and how to find AomeiBR folder and tasks2.2.xml file.
How to show a hidden folder/file in Windows 10 step by step?
1. Open File Explorer.
2. Click the "View" tab.
3. In the "Show" section, tick "Hidden items".
Now you should be able to see the hidden files and folders. Please note that these files and folders are usually system files and should not be changed or deleted, as this may cause system instability or other problems. If you are not sure what a file or folder does, do not change or delete it easily.
Find AomeiBR folder
There is a folder named AomeiBR under the path C:\ProgramData\
The ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, please tick Hidden Items option like the picture below displaying to make the ProgramData folder visible.
Then you can find the AomeiBR folder, please send it to us.
Find Tasks2.2.xml
There is a .xml file named tasks2.2.xml under the path C:\ProgramData\AomeiBR\
The ProgramData folder is a hidden folder, please tick Hidden Items option like the picture below displaying to make the ProgramData folder visible.
